Life Coaching 4 Kids Center was founded in the year of COVID. Where the suicide rates for teens were hitting an all-time high, child abuse and neglect numbers were on the rise and household incomes were on a rapid decline as parents were losing their jobs.

 Life Coaching 4 kids Center leaped into action to provide additional resources and services to agencies who were in needed of additional support. 

  

Life Coaching 4 kids Center proudly provides and coordinates Comprehensive community support services (CCSS) and resources to eligible clients and families to promote recovery, rehabilitation, and resiliency. Our culturally sensitive services identify and address the barriers that impede in the development of skills necessary for independent growth in the community. Our long list of wrap around services are customized to increase happiness, confidence and overall success in our client and their families while on their journey to recovery, and resiliency.

We Offer Individual, Family and Group Counseling Services 

for all ages!

Our Counselors are Master’s level therapists or they carry over 10+  years of experience in the Behavioral Health Industry. Our services are currently being provided online with limited, in-office, and in-home services appointments as recommended by your Case Manager or Counselor.

. All counselors have a minimum of 20 hours of training on clinical issues per year with an emphasis on Child and Adolescent Psychology, Counseling, and/or Social Work. They are either licensed or participate in weekly supervision with a Licensed Professional Mental Health Provider.

Our Counselors use the power of positivity to build on individual and family strengths to help members recreate their definition of happiness.

6 Weeks Starting – Wednesday, October 6, 2021 6pm (MST) Online (information will be sent after completing registration) Age: 10 -17 The children of divorced parents group is for children, adolescents, and teens with family dynamics surrounding separation, divorce, and/or blended families. This group allows individuals to share in a safe space where coping skills, navigation of the new family structure, boundaries, and acceptance are discussed. Sign your up for this group if you would like to see your young person increase their emotional wellness during a separation or divorce.

Children of Incarnated Parents Online Group Duration: 6 Weeks Start Date: Thursday, October 7th at 6:00 PM (MST) Age: 8-17 This group is for individuals who have a parent who is currently incarcerated or recently released. This group allows individuals to discuss their experiences with individuals with similar stories, receive unlimited support, and much more.

Gender Expression Group(6wks)

Duration: 6 Weeks Start Date: October 6th, Tuesdays at 6:00 PM Online Age: 11-17 The gender expression group gives adolescents and young adults an opportunity to discuss LGBTQ media topics, current legislature, trends in gender, and thoughts/feelings about identity in a healthy space. This forum allows individuals to share their personal experiences in a supportive environment with members who have similar passions. This group discusses advocacy for the LGBTQ community and the role of bullying and stigmatization of the LGBTQ community.

Parent Re-Set Group (Parents Only)

Online Start Date: October 6th, Every Wednesday at 7:00PM Parents Only As humans we take on many “roles” in this experience. We play the role of brother, sister, wife, husband, our occupational role, student, daughter, son, friend, companion, and lastly parent. As parents, it is important to not lose ourselves inside our children. it can be difficult to find time for ourselves with worldly changes, family ups and downs, and daily responsibilities. This group is a safe space for individuals to interact in existential conversation and psychoeducational growth. Within this group, we discuss the role of the ego, patterns in family dynamics, self-esteem, self-care, boundary setting, and exploration of emotions/coping patterns.

GROUP COACHING

Your child will learn powerful life skills, such as: mastering positive self-talk, building high self-esteem, developing confidence, setting goals to achieve their dreams, managing mistakes and failure, and so much more!

During our coaching relationship and program, you will get unlimited support. As part of the program, parents also get complimentary 30-60min online sessions to discuss challenges and progress.

Programs are inspired from the  proven WISDOM System for Coaching Children but they are individually designed in collaboration with the parent or guardian, and the teen.  

Girls and Boys Ages 8-11 

These sessions are designed to empower kids and help them see themselves happy, confident and successful, while having fun!

Each session consists of storytelling, focused discussion, and fun activities and games to make learning exciting!

We have fun, yet learn powerful life skills, such as: mastering positive self-talk, learning how our mind works, and the power of dreaming and setting goals to achieve them.

Group coaching sessions are held in-office or online via Zoom. Programs are 5 to 6 weeks in length and each weekly session is 50 min to an hour.

  

The stories and activities are age appropriate for kids ages 8-11. If your child is younger or older,      contact us to arrange for private coaching.

 

  • Group size is small to ensure that your child gets appropriate attention and quality of instruction.
  • At the end of each lesson, parents get worksheets to practice the skills learned at home for life mastery.

 

A highly recommended but optional parents meeting kicks off every group. Space is limited and we enroll on a first come, first serve basis.

Private Coaching

PRIVATE COACHING 6-18 YEARS OLD

Private coaching sessions are customized to meet the unique needs of your child or teen.


Sessions are specially designed to suit your child or teenager’s individual needs and support them in reaching their goals.


The coaching sessions provide a safe and warm place for your child or teen to help them connect with themselves, discuss and work through their challenges, and move towards their goals with confidence.


We take a limited number of private clients (kids and teens) and work with them for at least 3 months.   


Private coaching sessions are held In-office or online via Zoom. We meet weekly for an hour,

Nurturing Parenting - Family Support Services

Our Nurturing Parenting Program is evidence-based and open to the public, validation,

The Nurturing Parenting Program targets all different types of families with children birth to 18 years. The program features activities to foster positive parenting skills with nurturing behaviors, promote healthy physical and emotional development, and teach appropriate role and developmental expectations. Lessons are delivered in a home-based setting, group-based setting, In-Office, Virtually, or a combination of settings.

MORE FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES

Our community-based services exist to assist and support parents in their role as caregivers. Such services can take many different forms depending on the strengths and needs of the family, but our overall goal is to help enhance skills and resolve problems to strengthen families, create healthy minds and promote positive child development. 

We customize our Family Support Services to meet the unique needs of each family. Our programs address general population needs and assist groups, such as ethnic and cultural minorities; adolescent parents; kinship caregivers; children in foster care; families facing physical health concerns, untreated mental health issues, and treatment for substance abuse. At times, our services are comprehensive and at times they focus on a specific goal. 

Most recently we have seen an increase in:· 

  • Supporting children and families affected by divorce/separation (Co-Parenting, blended families, shared family care)· 
  • Supporting children and families affected by parental incarceration.· 
  • Supporting women with unexpected pregnancies· 
  • Supporting parents affected by unwelcomed child and adolescent behaviors at home and in a school setting. · 
  • Supporting families who have family members battling substance abuse. 
  • Supporting LGBTQ children and families

Community-Based Services

AFTERCARE  ONGOING SUPPORT

We provide rehabilitative services to children in residential treatment that help them move from the treatment facility to a home or community-based setting.

Ensuring success following residential treatment starts with providing adequate support once children are returned home or placed with relatives or in other permanent homes.

Aftercare includes assessment, monitoring, and ongoing management of therapeutic and clinical treatment services, as well as hard and soft support services for the family, teachers, and community members to support success in each area.

This program was designed as a 120-day program with services provided in the home after the child’s return.

A common misconception is that coaching is the same as counseling, when in fact they are quite different. Counseling is intended to help people recover from emotional or other psychological disorders such as depression or anxiety. Coaching, on the other hand, is intended to help individuals achieve personal goals such as schppl weight loss, improved work-life balance. etc.
